WHITEHAVEN, M.L.- A new regiment to train all new recruits was raised by cyclone_43 last Friday. The regiment recruited people from New Zealand soon after they started and has grown to 5 members within two days.
The regiment is met with skepticism from the Directory and Cyclone’s parent regiment, the 93rd Regiment of Virtues, for its initial purpose but Irishkaiser allowed the program to proceed, giving an inspirational anime scene where the old man tells the young kid never to give up or something, while sentimental piano music was playing in the background.
Cyclone stopped crying and smiled while saying “HAI”…
Irishkaiser - Cyclone’s new regiment was met with a significant amount of skepticism and even discouragement, some telling Cyclone to just stop it, citing past experiences to persuade them to stop. It has been the right of every Company Member to start their own regiment if they feel like it, for we trust they are rational and logical enough to listen to reason and judge for themselves if they can really go through with it. This right does not extend to regimentals, which I think is where the hostility of the idea comes from as the person mostly pushing it was Jamwizard, who is not a Company Member at all and kept on pushing the issue on the 93rd Skype chat.
To rise or fall out of one’s own accord is a right of a company member, and that right comes with responsibility for without responsibility, you definitely have no right.
That being said, it’s time to bash Jamwizard some more because fuck that guy.
The Directory proudly announces that it has delivered
3 Iron Axes
1 Inf Bow
1 Diamond Sword
1 Pluvia’s Storm
1 Chain Set
3 Iron Swords
in value exchange for
24 Health Potions
Mr.Pi led this trade run, Followed by Second-in-command Cyclone and other attendees were: Silver with a merchant inventory, Meme_MC and Derussiander, Spikejonze and Jamwizard2, and YakuzaFour. The trade run had no scout, so we were basically walking blind. This is because our planned scout(Silver) had to take a merchant Inventory as Ominous went to sleep at his desk. The trade run began in Aspermont, and moved south towards Yongton Abbey to regroup with Meme_MC and Derussiander, then towards Yawpton to regroup with Spikejonze. From this position, they moved south along the road past the bridge and towards the ruins, where we found a white guy who was rather impressed by us. He bought 1 chain set and 1 iron sword and took a screenshot and then said “You guys are the best”. From this position, Mr.Pi marched his men towards Grimdale where they sold the Diamond Sword, an infinity bow, an enchanted Iron sword, a regular Iron sword and an Iron Axe. No attackers were seen at Grimdale. After about 15 minutes, the caravan moved towards Portsmouth and formed a square around the post. From this position, some of the men were having some food issues, so the people in the 234th formed a squad to move to Consilio University to scavenge food for the main caravan(Because we had no goddamn scout). At Portsmouth we sold the rest of our merchandise(2 Iron Axes) and marched north towards the Ice Road.
Round 1: 93rd veterans VS Hippies at McIovinville
A 4v4 on McIovinville. The team ‘93rd Veterans’ consisted of GunOverdose, Silver, MissingNose and Mr.Pi, which split up into 2 battle buddy groups(Mr.Pi and Silver, and GunOverdose and missing.). The opposing team of Hippies(Quacker,Cyclone,Meme and Derussiander) held the opposite side of the map. Initially the plan was for the 93rd Veterans to distract their arrows and waste their ammunition while they fired volley after volley. After about 10 minutes of taunting and the enemy missing their shots, We decided that GunOverdose would flank and distract them, while the other 3 would run in and take out any stragglers. As a direct result of this plan, GunOverdose pulled 3 men of the enemy team to the river, while Derussiander was left behind and killed swiftly. Seconds afterwards, the rest of the 93rd Veterans regroup with GunOverdose in order to prevent another casuality and to damage the enemy supplies. As a direct result of fighting by the river, _Silver died and the rest of the 93rd Veterans regrouped at the opposite side of the river, where Meme was spotted shortly before. Due to this, The group attempted to chase him down, but to no avail. About a minute later, the 93rd Veterans regroup at McIovinville and charge the opposite side due to our superiority in resources and positioning. As a result of this charge, Cyclone was caught cornered, and was killed swiftly. Meme was then targeted, and Quackers, the last remaining member of their team fought to the end.
Round 2: 2v2v2v1 at Devils Castle
For this, Since Missing had to leave, We split up into teams of 2. Mr.Pi and Silver were a team. Meme and Derussiander were a team, and Cyclone and Quackers were a team, Leaving GunOverdose by himself. Initially, Mr.Pi took the tactical position of high ground beyond the river. Though after 5 minutes no contacts were seen. As a result, Mr.Pi’s team pushed into Devils Castle from the west and took control of the courtyard. After having a visual GunOverdose, He said that a team(Cyclone’s Team) were in close quarters in the south east tower. Mr.Pi swiftly took control of the tower alongside Silver, and in the final room, a CQC battle ensued. Silver died early in this battle, though Mr.Pi was able to finish of the 2 attackers. As a result of this, Mr.Pi quickly teamed up with GunOverdose in a desperate attempt to have some resistance against the final team of 2. They were spotted at the North East tower, and so GunOverdose and Mr.Pi regrouped at the top of the keep. GunOverdose had the idea to charge into the tower, while Mr.Pi followed from the opposite window in attempt to do some damage to them. GunOverdose fell out the window and continued fighting in a 1v2. Mr.Pi made it through the window, But was quickly killed due to a lack of backup and due to CQC. GunOverdose struggled to survive a little bit longer, but he eventually died.
Round 3 2v2v2 at Aspermont
For this battle, GunOverdose left. The teams were Mr.Pi and Silver, Meme and Derussiander, and Cyclone and Quackers. Mr.Pi and Silver hid in a tower, to take ambush anyone who entered it. Mr.Pi shortly after went to quickly grab a snack in 2 minutes and in those 2 minutes, Derussiander and Meme both saw and entered the tower. Mr.Pi and Silver both died(Moral of story, Never go AFK in battle.). As a result of this, Cyclone and Quackers took tactical initiative and pushed the tower, Meme was knocked off the tower, And Cyclone and Quackers 2v1’d Derussiander resulting in Cyclone and Quackers winning the round.
Round 4/5 FFA at Stillwater Motte
Meme had to go, So we simply had a few FFAs at Stillwater. For the first round of this, Quackers won. For the second round of this, Mr.Pi won. Nothing notable other than suspicions of Quacker hacking from _Silver, came from these FFAs.
The 234th had a plan to go to hasa to show the trainees what they’re up against. The 234th regiment with two trainees, mnidust and spikejonze as well as derussiander planned a raid on hasa. Jamwizard2 lead the assault. We arrived in hasa and a premium by the name of HeroLonely_Dark was on the southern wall. Derussiander shot at him, and cyclone did too, cyclone managed to land a shot. After some false information the premium flashed cyclone and jam who were sneaking up on him. The premium was critting cyclone and cyclone was critting him, but after a short fight cyclone had to flee around the outer walls. The premium naded cyclone twice, and then shot him to finish him off. The premium then killed jamwizard. Then mnidust, then derussiander, and then finally spikejonze.
Since it was noted that practically everyone who attended had a PVP-ready inventory and we weren’t attacked in this trade run, we decided to move to Bazel to set up a blockade for the swarms of premiums rushing to SS. From the Ice road, the group marched towards Bazel, and due to a lack of any proper map of Bazel, assigned names for the different notable locations(Valley, Valley Hill, Bazel Hill, Digsite, North, Mid and South Ice Road,Oasis and Bridge). During the Blockade, it was noted that there was no SS server open, Yakuza later told us that Corsair assumed SS was cancelled, and there were a lot of Premiums asking about SS in the lobby. As a result of this weird situation, Only 3 engagements were encountered at Bazel desert. SplashQuota was killed twice, running alongside the south ice road and the north ice road. Jewstyn was an emerald killed at Bazel Hill. We had no casualities for the entire night. Alicethekiller arrived at Bazel when we disbanding the group to go out and do our own thing.
