Irishkaiser - A large influx of members has begged the question of our expansion and the idea of two or more regiments who perform the same function, not unlike multiple real world regiments with many regiments of horse, of guard, of line, artillery and even engineers.
The 93rd is swarming with too many dungeoneers that finding an officer to take a core number of members and allowing them to take control, I think would be most efficient as it would create economies of scale. Imagine two dungeon regiments of the UTC doing two different dungeons simultaneously, same as two recruiting regiments of the UTC. It would also place far more importance on the administrative regiment to coordinate the increasing amount of regiments and maybe, if we grow even larger, two administrative and logistical regiments capable of supporting as many as 10 regiments.
For now, all regiments have specialties, no designations officially, but specialties. In fact, all regiments are allowed and capable of doing everything else.
If we do grow really large, we might have to start dividing ourselves into categories that are similar to Line, Horse and Artillery.

The UNKNOWN [?] Trading Company conducted a Military Exercise in Aspermont last week for the purpose of studying attacking and defending Aspermont, evaluating new battlefield tactics and ideas and a new standardized Full Battle Kit. The Company failed to test out an inventory thoroughly, first accusing a certain officer of high treason, as it was assumed that the person was deliberately sabotaging the other team by taking the inventory and then not giving it to the other team who was supposed to test it out(because it is in the interest of the Company to know what these could do) and then, the Company later accused a certain regimental of the team that was supposed to test the inventory of incompetence and negligence(because that person was quiet about not having it).
A third party offered to test the experimental inventory in a future patrol to resolve the issue. The writer finds it particularly appalling if the former is true because it was a Company Officer, whereas a regimental is understandable.
The study has found that the new Full Battle Kit, nicknamed as a “Gunventory” was easily acquirable and much more preferable for expected fights compared to the previous Battle Inventory Model. However the standard battle inventory is still acceptable since it’s more well-rounded and can still be used for policing, trade run and other mundane duties.
Aspermont’s weak and strongpoints have been re-evaluated and the fighting revealed where it is most preferable for defenders to station themselves in.
A strategy used to attack was deployed though initially a failure as only one of the four managed to actually do the job, the Directory saw the potential if the right people are placed in it.
Lessons learned from the last war games were applied as well and the Commander of Abel Company during the last War Games finally has learned to put trust into his subordinate officers and applied them effectively.
The fighting has also shown that the defending team’s organization was quite mediocre as instead of grouping them into squads, for force concentration, the defending team was grouped into 4 battle buddies, instead of 2 squads and 1 battle buddy.
Both sides learned the importance of force concentration. There was also a note on the engineer, seeing as it was a learned occupation and requires extensive experience, knowledge and practicality to be used effectively.
Urban warfare was also explored and both sides gained experience in deploying and fighting in it.
Also the time, the best time for the Empire to gather its might and strike… That and the lag issues.

In addition to engineers, medics, scouts and supply trains, the UTC is going to deploy the idea of Chasseurs(Hunters in French). Inspired from the Chasseur a Chevals of the Age of Gunpowder, their role will be very similar.
After suffering another defeat, Pittacus' Gang activity decreases. 234th Regimental HazeRanger was the only lone survivor in the encounter when his friends fought them in an outnumbered encounter.
Intelligence reports say that there is a sort of aura of fear of the UTC hidden behind dismissive words like “I don’t care/L/they’re just roleplayers!!! we’re better!”
A UTC Patrol, composed mainly of the members of the Whitehaven Regiment encountered and defeated a bandit group in Frostbain in a relatively even fight.
Suffering only one casualty in the encounter.
The Imperial Assembly has argued over the merits of allowing the 234th to maintain permanent membership, with Irishkaiser proposing up to six, but saying that four is minimum.
They would, in effect act as helpful sergeants and overseers and may even continue when Cyclone’s gone.
