    • HEADLINES: Greg Awarded Company Membership before Retiring from MineZ

ASPERMONT, W.L.- Greg1181, the one who turned the tide of the Alt War to reveal Pittacus' secrets asked to be a Company Member last week. His request was granted with the fastest ass vote you’ve ever seen. Mainly from Alt War Army of Observation Staff Members: Irishkaiser, Alicethekiller and cyclone_43, the ones most involved with him.

He said that as he was already even inactive as he’s starting a family now and won’t have time to play video games as much anymore. I am not joking.

    • EDITORIAL “Learn to Say No rather than Abstain.”

Irishkaiser - I’ve noticed that most people either vote Yes or Abstain and never No. There is a problem with that as peer pressure or just not caring affects decisions that are made… ESPECIALLY WHEN IT’S ABOUT COMPANY MEMBERSHIP. Most of the time, I’m the only one voting No. Everyone just abstains and they hope it’s enough of a “No” to count, when all it does is delay the passing.

A lot of people probably do it so as not to be rude or to save face and relationships. Well, better a known enemy than a false friend. We should always be honest with each other on what we think, regardless if we spot their flaws. They must be pointed out. Jamwizard2’s self-destructive behavior would not have been dealt with if we kept quiet about it because we’re afraid of hurting his feelings. No, he can only improve if it’s pointed out to him his flaws as a person. The well-oiled machine that is the UTC is made sure to remove these obstructions by pure honesty with criticism and counter-criticism. Any and all complaints must be made as long as they are justifiable. to create a list of problems that must be solved one by one.

If we want to fix problems, we must know them and how else can we know them unless we point them out and take it for what it is?

    • EDITORIAL “An Opportunity to be seen with allowing people to attack Dawn Brigade”

Irishkaiser - Extra editorial because of an epiphany. A realization dawned on me that I’m wasting an opportunity here for study. These recent attacks on Dawn Brigade by players who’re looking for an excuse to kill for fun or just pissed off at what those fuckers are doing have all just been glanced or looked at without a second thought by the senior officers when it should be observed at apolitically.

The opportunity here gentlemen, is in the study of tactics and strategies which is quite invaluable for our officer corps. There is a treasure trove of unique study in the military arts here that were just ignored because the lot of us couldn’t give two fucks about it except a snigger every now and then. A study of Jamwizard’s attack, HazeRanger’s attack and whoever else that attacked that may have passed under the radar for me, but if they were someone else or another group, a lot of us here would be devouring the absolute fuck out of the details.

The interesting thing to note about HazeRanger’s attacking a force many his number and somehow inflicting multiple casualties must be looked into. I appreciate Chiaggi’s report with time and minute detail with his own thoughts about how it went down and it sparked an interest in me that these numbers were associated to events and actions that could affect theory and practice in the future. The approach, the elan, the disposition and deployment. It would be a unique learning experience.

The insight we’ve gained from their adventures should not be ignored. Most of the time it is us on the receiving end of a premium attack. I remember back then asking Yakuza how he did it when he attacked Dawn Brigade but I never seriously studied it since the reports he sent to me were always the same as the results were repetitive, but the educational opportunities afforded with attacking defensive dispositions that is practically copied from our own is basically free lunch to those who could see. We’ve mused before of attacking our own trade runs as part of war games to study how best to break ourselves apart and or defend ourselves, but our numbers would always be divided. We’d never get more than a company vs a company at the very least when we should have at least a corps at any serious battlefield.

Already, Chiaggi told me of the main reason of their attack’s failure, is mostly among the trainees and their failure to operate properly with the rest. That and HazeRanger’s premium gung-ho SPAWN IN AND ATTACK tactics which we’re trained to fight against, not for. At the very least, interviewing the attackers give us a good insight on what the enemy feels or thinks.

The Directory proudly announces that it has delivered

    A shit ton of legendaries

    in value exchange for

    Free

FireKnight gave a ton of legendaries to say sorry. Needless to say, Irishkaiser said it was like accepting a three quarters from someone who thought he was giving us $3. Most of the legendaries aren’t valued by us and a lot of them are crap out balls gay useless to the point that we don’t even want to list them down. A helmet of vision? Seriously? What in the fuck.

    • PvP Drill archive compileNewList.sh data.json head.html links.html output.md tail.html 82nd Mass PvP Event - War Games: Fighting on the Milky Delta

A Military Exercise was conducted on rivers and fighting on them. two companies fought each other in the ice rivers, deploying a variety of items and legendaries to both pursue and escape each other. It was discovered by both companies that a certain item may be useful in pursuit and defense, especially when a Chaser was in the middle of the Escapee group.

The Chasers killed about ½ of the Escapees, but could not finish off the survivors. Certain terrain and tactics were evaluated and the Escapees managed to retreat with only half their forces intact. The Chasers could not find the surviving Escapees due to the fact that killing people being chased takes up time and that a better system needs to be devised to economically neutralize threats and of course lost visual of the Escapees. The Escapees figured out though that when it came to comparable skill and or numbers or the combat power is somewhat equal, it is better to stand and fight.

Both sides agreed that certain legendaries may be counter-intuitive if your ping is “spotty”. Some people died due to nocheat or being lagged back after using said legendaries. I’d also like to commend the leader of the Chasers for being a well-organized and focused leader. Unfortunately, I don’t think he’s as “broad-minded” as an officer should be and that he only functions 100% when given a specific, direct mission. More machine than a soldier, his creative and independent abilities are slightly sub-par but he is exact and can get the job done, regardless of the factors.

A large group of leathers were spotted by dead Escapees in the South as well at a certain time, prompting to change the trade run time as well. This may just be an anomaly and or pure luck.

    • DOMESTIC Imperial Assembly passes bill defining regiment size.

8 people will define a full-strength regiment, above 8 people will be an over-strength regiment, below 8 is under-strength. 4 people is defined as half-strength.

    • DOMESTIC WITHIN ONE WEEK, SHRAUGER WAS VINDICATED

The Directory(mainly Irishkaiser and his white crusading ego) has kept its promise to vindicate Shrauger by making three people who fucked with him in the past apologize to him by threatening to do nothing. Literally, I am serious. The senior UTC members literally persuaded them to apologize by just not giving a fuck anymore. That’s really how it went.

Though the clan of the three people all claimed loud and proud that they’ll never give apologies, they did anyway(which was expected) and the pressure resulted in three apologies from:

    Connor564

    111kittycat111

    Sam_F

Even though, Irishkaiser was right once again and called out that Sam posted a bullshit thread trying to save face, but Irishkaiser still did not read it anyway because of his God-awful condescending writing style and vainglory that pockmarks everything he writes

In exchange, Irishkaiser and or Gun promised to maybe get Cyclone to stop. Maybe… I don’t know, what do you think?

Well, they did bend the knee…

    • DOMESTIC Army of Observation recommends new alt dispositions

As the Alt War is over, the alt dispositions will change gear from attacking the enemy, to purely defensive and logistical resupply for the UTC. Some alts will stay however as their disposition is now both defensive and logistical. This will take time and a lot of movement. Get me escorts. I need escorts of Spiderman.
