ASPERMONT, W.L.- A large demographic shift in the UTC has recently called for inquiry and evaluation due to the 234th Regiment’s introduction of the mass manpower that has never before been taken into account by the UTC’s modern administrative system. These new types of players in the UTC is described by the older members as feeling not necessarily like comrades or fellow patriotic citizens, but rather as “conscripts” with no attachment or infusion of patriotism or loyalty to their mother country.
The “conscripts” or their equivalent in pre-June Reforms UTC, were once even a shared doctrine with all the other major clans but then rejected by the Directory, which resulted in the battle-hardened officers, strategists and administrators of the time preferring smaller, more cohesive and efficient fighting forces than a swarming mass. Even when introduced these large amount of recruits, the core of the UTC Doctrine was always much more suited to smaller forces that we sub-divided a large group into individual units such as squads, companies and corps.
The older training, though old fashioned, produced the high quality Company individual. These newer individuals are more suited to fighting premiums in the Gravels than they are in the usual Company way of soldiering. Fighters alone are not soldiers. Complaints about the inability of the recruits' lack of austerity, patience and fortitude under fatigue and privations is a top concern for many UTC veterans. Not only Company Members, BUT REGIMENTAL VETERANS themselves find it difficult to get on with the recruits.
The recruiting regiment’s unforeseen effect has generated concerns over the incompatibility of the recruits and the UTC’s doctrine which requires highly disciplined and intelligent soldiers with initiative, not simply dumb, blind fighters. Either a change in doctrine or a change in the recruiting system that better which suit our culture is being looked into.
The current generation of officers however are still described as the best in Shotbow and, if given the effort, could adapt to the current situation and make full 100% use of Conscript Infantry tactics and methods though it requires a bit of re-learning and hands on experience. Running the recruits with the old UTC way however, is produces lackluster results. The inquiry will continue, even as Irishkaiser is in New Zealand on the 10th of April.
Irishkaiser - Throughout its life, the UNKNOWN [?] Trading Company has always prided itself in having the most honest, straight-forward no nonsense ethic between players and has went out of its way to make sure that the ethic is passed on to the next generation. It was also noted through the years however that this was not always the case and that quietly, over time plenty of cases and incidents of unreported malicious activities flourished in underground. I will not, by God, mince words for many of you know those cases in which have led time and again a cycle of headaches and stupefied wonder that we ask ourselves: “How the hell did that went under our noses?”.
The most famous is the Dreya case, and the most recent of common knowledge was the Kirby case(all 93rd lol) though it has gone back far longer than that before and was one of the issues answered during the June Reforms of 2013. The one that I have discovered though, thank goodness before it exploded in our faces was the UNCOVERED SEX RINGS IN THE UTC. Mostly composed of recruits and members, usually from the 234th, these sex rings that only have recently surfaced after those found “uncomfortable” with their friends decided to speak up about them. Some only comfortable after they’re gone so they don’t hurt their feelings.
As a chance for them to forget that they’ve done it, I will only give away one deviant.
Rebuffed - Beta Cuckold Pakistani Sex Ring Bullshit 1
Rebuffed - Beta Cuckoldd Pakistani Sex Ring Bullshit 2
And that’s not all. There’s more than one instance of Rebuffed acting like that in the most wretched of manner. Also, upon reading MORE THAN ONE OF THOSE FROM MULTIPLE PEOPLE. HOLY SHIT. THE PAIN. SWEET JESUS. THE PAIN. THEY CONVINCED ME HE WAS “COMPANY MEMBER” MATERIAL AND I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO VOTED NO…
THEN CYCLONE AND ALICE WERE LIKE “NAH NAH NIGGA. HE COOL. TRUST ME.”
AND I WAS LIKE “Alright… If you guys say so. I’ll switch to abstain.”
Luckily, this was discovered and is beginning to be stamped out. That and the people were told to speak up more and find their voices and call people out for this shit. This is how we survive. Being honest and frank with each other. The more we lie or hold our tongue to “not hurt feelings”, we only hurt everyone else because we may have a problem that builds up and nobody has ever heard about it.

A regular trade run that started off in Grimdale with about an oversized company that later turned into a full corps. The caravan sold its diamond sword and iron armor to some customers in Grimdale before moving on to Portsmouth. Along the way, the caravan sold chain sets and iron swords and infinity bows but then… Lo and behold… We encounter Dawn Brigade, on alts. I shit you not, they were doing the same exact shit again they did last time, pretending we didn’t know what the hell was going on. We didn’t care, but they thought they were cool spies and shit going like “Yeah, they don’t know who we are.”. Any idiot could easily tell it was Soular and his gang but we were like “Whatever.” and kept moving anyway.
On the way, Dawn Brigade once again committed random assaults and acts of banditry to a bunch of guys just hanging around in the South and said it was like to help the UTC or something, when they were just attacking a bunch of guys. Before reaching Portsmouth, the caravan sold out just East of Pravus. Irishkaiser however, pressed on anyway to create a show of UTC formations and discipline to a bunch of leathers down South who’d be willing to watch. For free. Economic collapse.
Upon leaving Portsmouth, once again… Dawn Brigade started attacking people for no absolute reason or some shit. I swear… I bet they were probably telling people that they were UTC or some shit while doing it. Some of the Dawn Brigade who participated in the tag-along, particularly jtt and Uncharted, were later discovered to be banned for Shrine glitching. Fuck em'.

Douchebag called Grim_Raider orders tons of infinity bows. He never picked it up after. Darn pizza prank callers.
The Drill Server was fixed this week and drills were conducted among some regiments. No idea on any reports though.
And then we decide what to do with the rest.
Jamwizard2 was made to answer for his attitude and behavior over the months that were deemed too much of a problem to ignore and he irrevocably shot himself in the foot, according to many Company Members who decided what to do with him. The following is Jamwizard’s Defense on the subject matter:
jamwizard2 - Last Saturday at 10:29 PM I feel that even though I have done bad things while being a company member but I have also done good things while being in the UTC. I pitched the idea of the 234th to cyclone and Irish. Cyclone and I both wanted to leave the 93rd back in september, but we didnt know what we wanted. So I came up with the idea of a training regiment. I made the first documents, spent time trying to refine it, and then pitched it to cyclone. After some edits we made together pitched it to Irish, who recluctantly accepted it claiming: “I feel like this was Jam’s idea but Ill let it through.” I gave cyclone all the credit so we would be able to build the regiment. For I was not a company member yet.
I supply trained for all of spookyfest and spent hours upon hours collecting wheat each week. The supply train was needed during spooky fest and I took the responsibility of doing it. I took a lot of time out of my days to make sure we had everything each week. I even did it for the Northern war games.
I helped the First regiment finally become full strenght after months of being empty. I came up with the idea of weekly events and with the help of UnMaskMe, was able to prop up the first regiment to a full strenght regiment. I also started to have the First regiment do dungeons to eventually help out the 93rd.
Finally, I have shown my dedication to the company by doing manual labor in the past to refill gunpowder stores and other alts. Recently I have put in the entire inventory of my storage alt when I thought I was going inactive. I have always put the company first in any item related action.
I know I have problems but I beg you all to not kick me over them. I have never done anything as bad as Pittacus, Kirby, or even Icarius. Im willing to take any other punishment but I beg the company to not strip me of my membership.
To which the response from the others were
GunWolf - Last Saturday at 11:59 PM
Ok, I’ll be the first to bite. What assurance is there that this kind of shit won’t happen again? Because it almost seems like a weekly thing, where Jam either: Hears voices, or makes a call that he probably shouldnt make. It’s become a constant pattern. Im aware of what you accomplished Jam, but what I’m not aware of is a system to prevent this shit.
UnmaskMe - Yesterday at 12:16 AM
You know, I wasn’t public about it because I figured you’d start accusing/criticizing me and it would be harder to collect my thoughts. Even if we’re friends I’m not just going to let every issue I see slide jam
RainytheGamer - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
This seems to be a recurring issue every week. I think it needs to be dealt with Instead of jam getting mad at everyone for trying to help, and everyone continuing to avoid this..
Lieutenant Joe (BabyRoo) - Today at 12:13 AM
I like what I said lol Drop him from any sort of leadership position, make him a soldier And if he has any more incidences like this Strip him of his rank
The Company began to deliberate for about a day, with Gun, UnmaskMe and Rainy forming the camp to remove Jamwizard’s Company Membership and Irishkaiser, Lieutenant_Joe and Cyclone forming the camp of just stripping most of his rights.
While everyone’s deliberation almost leaned towards just stripping Jamwizard of most of a Company Member’s rights, save but name - staunch opposition from Rainy, UnmaskMe and Gun resulted in Jamwizard2 threatening to negotiate his position, which made Irishkaiser and Joe reconsider their position and even turned neutral people who were still considering his status to revoking his membership.
jamwizard2 - Today at 10:51 AM If my company membership title is taken Im not doing the Ghost ship. No point because Im not full UTC anymore.
Spyware - Today at 10:51 AM See what I mean? Ok That’s it
ObliviousBob - Today at 10:51 AM Okay, well that settles my vote
Silver - Today at 10:51 AM That’s not a good way to get your title back
