ASPERMONT, WESTERLANDS- Three different instances of admin abuse of three different groups were reported by regimentals and Imperial Citizens to the UTC which sparked outrage in the Assembly. All, though separate accounts and occasions were reported in one day, sparking outrage. The first report, though old and out of date comes from the recently collapsed clan of SuperMasony whose scattered members reported to each other and grapevine assets that they teleported to Ghost Fleet frequently, bragging and implying they had a “higher up friend”.
The second was reported by an Imperial Citizen who wished to remain anonymous on an alt as he was playing but stated that he encountered a mistake done by one of the admins who moved a player, while using the “camouflage” excuse of “stuck in a block” to teleport players that teleported to him unnecessarily and by accident. His IGN to teleport to contained no known similarities between any Shotbow Staff as of the time of this writing.
The third involved the sketchy and suspicious group of Shotbow Staff Member Marine_PvP himself whose members were recently discovered through contact with UTC forces, particularly regimentals of an incident at Clarce of their highly suspicious actions and playstyles. It is unknown whether Marine_PvP himself cheats, as he has played with cheaters before but an event before involved the killing of Fussel03, one of the members of the group or Marine_PvP himself. Later all five attackers who took part, who weren’t even that near to each other, but who did take part were later disconnected and NPC killed for no discernible reason. The only exception were UTC players and forces unknown to Marine_PvP’s group and EVERYONE ELSE IN THE SERVER WHO PRACTICALLY LIVED. ALL FIVE OF THE PEOPLE WHO TOOK PART OF THE ATTACK ALL JUST MYSTERIOUSLY DISCONNECTED AND DIED. FIVE INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS FROM DIFFERENT CONTINENTS WHO WEREN’T EVEN ON THE SAME CHUNKS JUST HAPPENED TO ALL DISCONNECT AND DIE.
The weird attack patterns and the sudden appearances were deemed inconclusive but at the same time highly suspicious and sketchy.
The incidents sparked outrage and calls for the UTC to take some form of action. The top suggestion included going out there ourselves offer our services as dedicated, disciplined actual staff occupying Shotbow, rooting out the corrupt system, re-organizing it and when the time is right - return the power and slowly pass on the responsibilities. During the hearing, the Assembly brought in opinions from retired and former staff who disliked Shotbow’s corrupt and disorganized system. This is what they generally had to say;
“When I left Shotbow Staff, the higher ups never really watched over those below them and there’s no proper chain of command in the staff team.”
“It’s the "old admins” over everyone else. The team is hostile to each other.“
“A UTC-run staff would be a dream honestly, but I doubt you guys would be able to handle the problem and politics unless you start over completely.”
Opposition to the plan of breaking tradition and becoming admins were met as well, as the traditionalists feel that it would just be another foreign adventure where it would be a waste of time and resources, preferring the old way of just getting admin friends themselves and making their cases heard, citing that it would probably be like Iraq where you occupy and when you finally leave the same old corrupt system would return.
Those who support the plan claim that the reward is an ideal MineZ where our values of freedom, justice and fairness are finally institutionalized and having the opportunity to fix MineZ itself lay open with such a plan.
Opposition guys later shouted “Yeah, it ain’t that easy, smarty pants…” which resulted in the usual happening in the Imperial Assembly.
OneZedArmy- All of this admin abuse is not only on the PvP groups. Dungeoneers have as much admin abuse or even higher. The thing is that they aren’t an inmediate threat to the group and that’s why they are left apart. But for example, when the Halloween Dungeon was implemented and there were NO clues about where could it be. That new Halloween dungeon could be anywhere in the world map and there were no clues where would it be, but of course, only three days after, the dungeon got completed and the group did a screenshot and admins appeared in the screenshot. It doesn’t mean much, as the admins maybe made themselves visible in order to congratulate the group. Still, I’m sure the dungeon was not discovered the third day. It was probably discovered earlier and required multiple attempts due to that difficult pressure plate pigman room.
The thing is that it is very likely that the admins gave the location right away to their friends from the group. Such as Casual chat, Team Rocksteady and all those motherfuckers abuse from administrators. I was in both Casual chat and Team rocksteady (precursor of Legacy) and I can confirm that multiple admins were in both groups. Which ultimately means giving information from updates due to them being friends. That’s why not allowing admins to join clans or any group should be made mandatory. The only problem I find with this is the Boogaert’s affair back then when he joined UTC and was kicked from staff. But if boogaert was kicked from staff then half of the administrators should’ve been kicked too.. Of course, Navarr used cheap excuses such as not letting a staff join a group of “racists” et cetera. It’s like Shotbow’s already accepted that they are not capable of making this gamemode thrive and so they try to squeeze the last money they can before it dies. I had a chat yesterday with some people in the Hub about the recent updates, especially Origins, and the problems with it. Basically it was that Origins was not an update for the newcomers and new players in MineZ, but rather to the already active-players, which is, the dungeoneers - And to make them play more, and thus pay more.
That’s why I talked about Shotbow trying to squeeze every last cent they can before it dies. Because the update was directed towards an already-active group, not to newcomers.
We also talked about the “God inventories” problem and the “grind” in MineZ. About the god inventories and the better-endgame stuff in general, my opinion is that it’s not the problem of some gear being better than other, because the game needs a difficulty curve. But that the real problem was the ability to “cheat” and get those better-endgame items much easier and duping. The last topic was MineZ 2 I think. I’m very critical of it. Probably not when it was released because, you know, degenerate past.
But in general, most people blame MineZ 2’s failure due to the incredible grind that was in the game. Some others blame it too on the lack of maintenance and the massive bugs (especially housing) that started a few months after the release, but I think that it’s not only how MineZ 2 was developed but also the very concept of a second MineZ game. I find that dividing the already low playerbase into another zombie survival apocalypse game with only better mechanics was a stupid idea and that caused the already poor development here in Shotbow to even have to care and maintain another gamemode and it’s bugs. I also heard that Infection was not fixed even after the MULTIPLE times they said they would, and even saying that THEY DID in the official Origins update thread To be fair, I still have to meet someone who got infected.

A non-eventful trade run using secret and covert means of goods distribution. Few customers, but the price of secrecy.
A two-day Military Exercise conducted by the UTC starting immediately after the trade run. The agenda was a two-day exercise getting used to the logistical strain and system of the UNKNOWN [?] Trading Company to prepare for a major operation and urban warfare. The Grand Staff has discovered that its “gearing up” and regular methods for mobilization received “passing marks”, able to gear up and resupply itself within a day but feels it could have been done better, particularly with the judgment of individual players who went out there and engaged a suspected admin-abusing group in Clarce. It’s discovered that the new guys do not realize yet the importance of valuing the mission and prefer to go out and fight when they see the enemy, giving themselves risk of death. To the regimentals' defense, they feel as if the odds themselves were in their favor before the sudden out of nowhere spawn on a roof attack pattern delta yeehaw. The deaths however incurred still gave an opportunity to test the strain on the supply system of the UNKNOWN [?] Trading Company which actually regeared them in a short amount of time. The rapid mobilization process for the UTC is therefore currently estimated at about 24-48 hours after the order is issued, which is considered passing.
The UNKNOWN [?] Trading Company later conducted war games to get used to urban warfare and to test out new legendaries. A new weapon and tool has seen potential use by UTC forces and may make more appearances in combat kits. One member of the Attackers did not prepare in time and the fault was seen on that person. The Attackers did not communicate enough as did the Defenders, who communicated quite well and the tools Irishkaiser wanted to see the defenders use shone. The evaluation for the legendaries though was considered inconclusive as the fuckup commander of the Attackers lagged mid-fight and couldn’t use his legendary effectively. One sword passed the test and another was given “inconclusive”.
Spotted in Midlands. We asked him if he embodied the sisu of Finns. He said “Soumi”.
The definition and relationship of Company Members, Regimentals, Imperial Citizens, Grapevines and certain “hidden” assets may be reclarified and redefined because people just all consider them generally just “UTC”.
