    • EDITORIAL “Tell me what I am.”

Irishkaiser - In the previous Empire article, I talked about how people don’t really actually know people and refer to them as either chill or nice when all that basically means “that person and I have no outstanding issues”. As an example, I have made a short one of Shrauger:

Here is a friend(Shrauger) generously just and compassionate but stoic and stern in the midst of adversity - preferring to laugh off most misfortunes and look at the brighter side of things after every disaster. Serious at his duty and to the people around him, hesitant, but willing to take any task if the need proved dire. His personal fear of letting his friends down pressures him into tasks he himself hates to do or he has no pre-requisite experience and knowledge in. Not quick to admit he doesn't know what he's doing, but trusts and has faith in his superiors. He is however not blind to possibilities of error and chance. Deeply Christian, he doesn't attach and expresses disdain for any proliferation of sin, especially those of the flesh. An able subordinate officer, but an inept leader, Shrauger has the insight and wisdom of relationships, but seems to be awkward himself to most new people. His distance and initial silence is one that would cause self-reflection and makes you consider what you're about to say. Starting conversations only when he is told to start them, he is a catalyst, not an instigator. His ethics and professionalism conflicts with people around him who give him conflicting orders or conflicting directives. Bearing no initial hate, but eventually holds people who contradict everything they say with contempt. Family and real life are his priorities, as they should be but he does not willingly break his promises nor leave a fault of his own without apology.

Now here’s my challenge to you, reader. Personally, only to those who are actually friends or acquaintance with me will this matter. I want you to describe me and in exchange I will describe you in the same fashion as I have described Shrauger over there. Do you really know me or can you describe me at all as a friend? I have come to realize that some people don’t have as much of a deep connection with me as much as I have given them, such as ObliviousBob. My exact conversations know that he was lying or holding back and I knew because of my deep understanding of him. He kept denying it to the end. WE ARE ONE WITH THE KHALA. THE SACRED UNION OF OUR EVERY THOUGHT AND EMOTION.

    • PvP Drill archive compileNewList.sh data.json head.html links.html output.md tail.html 101st Mass PvP Event - 101 Dalmatians Military Exercise.

A large-scale Al Hasa raid was pre-planned and conducted during Stupid Saturday. The military exercise placed new officers at the helms of companies and a corps to prepare them in a live-fire exercise in being under a Corps itself.

In terms of planning, the Imperial General Staff found that planning was adequate, however communication between the Field Captains and the Field General himself wasn’t good enough, the Field Captains also failed to adequately set up their companies. The Field General lacks the imagination and prefers to think the plan as is and did not provide any meaningful input to the draft. The Kaiser Dialect of Military Counters may be modified in the future to account for new battlefield realities and or easier understanding.

Resource allocation and logistics were deemed adequate, but the Quartermaster General proved very inept and at times incompetent at his position, preferring to toss his responsibilities to be sorted out to the people he distributed the materials to. A single delivery of supposedly 3 Kenkasurus and 3 Zsh-1s was somehow turned into 8 Zsh-1s. The Quartermaster General just laughed at it. Douche.

The field officers with the exception of Abel Company’s officers proved very inept and too quiet for their roles. Only Abel Company was capable enough to organize with Banjo Company requiring assistance and at times coaching. The two companies still did not adequately organize themselves to the standard that was provided and the new Field General when the opportunity came for him to inspect and organize the companies, either did not do enough or intervened in the wrong sections and at the wrong time.

The Field General set up the communication structure with unnecessary layers of communication. Even though there was a lack of a third company and against the advice of veteran officers, the Field General felt it justified to create a command squad. His style is seen by the author as too slow, indecisive and clunky, preferring to plan and strategize on the fly rather than briefing his men before on their objectives. His communication in general was awkward and delayed.

The Field General acted as if he was a company commander, basically, treating the corps as a bigger company. Big mistake. The Field General did not give the company commanders the needed amount of freedom and preferred at times to put Banjo Company under his direct command, quieting and silencing Banjo Company’s field captain.

An incident to be noted was the notorious halting and inactivity in the FACE OF THE ENEMY just outside of Al Hasa. The Field General attempted to re-organize the squads IN THE MIDDLE OF CONTACT WITH THE ENEMY. The inactivity halted the UTC advance outside Al Hasa and eventually, in order to organize properly, had to retreat to actually fix itself. In the process, the Field General discovered that some members were running low on food and… Split up his forces… Three immediately headed back to base, and the other was to move onwards regardless.

The logistics and supply situation was considered quite capable but the Field General, even under reminder, hesitated in using it and instead of resupplying his forces at base - immediately decided to resupply near Abandoned Farm. He had split up his forces in the meantime and had intelligence that the enemy was nearby. Whether or not he was impatient for a fight even though he knows their immediate supplies on the field were low is not yet made certain.

After suffering a considerable amount of casualties North of Abandoned Farm due to premiums they encountered which forced him to retreat to base, they were adequately resupplied and re-organized properly. The training corps became one single training company via attrition and Abel and Banjo Company’s captains were simply reduced to roles as squad leaders.

In this, the field general started to shine as he was a very capable company commander before his attempt at leading a corps. The command squad in the meantime was abolished and the smaller force proved more effective and efficient where the company finally scored meaningful kills, defeating the premiums that attacked them before and dominated Al Hasa after, even with just fewer men, even capturing the dreaded Therum’s Strength from the fuckers.

All in all, it is in the advice of the witness that the officers who participated in their capacity with the exception of Abel Company are not ready for their coveted positions in actual times of war or in a real major battle. Abel Company itself was not given a chance to show their full potential in the opinions of the author, but finds Abel “ready”.

It is recommended that the following things be noted and improved upon:

    1) The Quartermaster General is to take his supplying seriously and at least set it upon an agreed time. Only half of the stuff he promised to supply came on time and where they should be. Actually, only a QUARTER OF THEM WERE WHERE THEY SHOULD BE.

    2) The Field General is to have more capacity for imagination and increase his trust on his subordinate officers and… Trust among people in general and should stop always assuming people do things in bad faith. The Field General also seems to jump to conclusions on information way too much rather than analyzing. He is a fine field captain however, but doesn’t know how to properly run and administer a large army or put them to their greatest effect. The experience however should not daunt him from trying again in another exercise in the future as mistakes are made and corrected upon. Also, his idea of setting up communication is SHIT. SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT. He is very ready in a real war or real campaign to act as a field captain, that is for certain.

    3) The Field Captains are to treat their companies as their own personal mini-regiments. Especially Banjo’s leader. Banjo Company’s leader simply just became another fighter in the ranks rather than an officer as he should be.

    4) Certain equipment modifications that for sure prepare us to fight in the Gravelands against heavily armed premiums.

    5) Set everything up BEFORE or AFTER a fight, but not IN THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKING COMBAT ZONE YOU FUCKING FUCKS. FUUUUUUUUUCK THAT WAS SO AMATEUR.

As always, the exact nature of what happened, who killed or was killed is kept distinctly vague. Numbers and exact names as well, so our enemies do not know who exactly they were fighting and who was leading. But the flaws are reported so as to give incentive for those who participated to IMPROVE because our weaknesses have been made public. But that is the point of a military exercise, so when the real thing happens - remember, we finally have had hands-on experience.

Veracity of the Exchequer covered a missing amount of cash in our bank suspected to be the same thing that doubled our money months earlier, except this time in reverse. Of course, as usual - with a money loss from us rather than them, the bank seemed to have somehow responded much slower.

St.Veracity however, in his generosity has gladly given away his money to cover for the loss amount while we sort out the missing 10K+.

St.Veracity has also purchased property. St.Veracity later made it rain. St.Veracity ROOLZ.
