GENEVA, SWITZERLAND- The rebirth of a sizable European contingent, led by efforts of the 93rd Regiment of Virtues has swelled the 93rd to 14 players strong(last census). The Directory later advised to stop recruiting anymore Europeans and instead told them to follow the strategy of “bite and hold”, that is, to take as much as you can manage(bite) and then halting to consolidate what you gained(hold) before repeating.
Irishkaiser became pleased to be given the opportunity to once again lead certain cultures into battle as he had led them and understood how they joked and communicated many years ago but was immediately reminded that their first priority should be dungeons, to which Irishkaiser acquiesced.
Caroleans are making a comeback. LATT MIN NAMN SPRIDA SKRACK.
Irishkaiser - I had a conversation with an Imperial Citizen last week on the merits of society and what individuals should be in said society. Of course, as you should know, he prefers the more centralized form of government and is of course an avowed National Socialist. Our conversations before have re-affirmed that National Socialism needs strong centralized authority to function and we both agree that different people respond differently to different governments. Not everyone functions well on the same form of government as republican democracies that are forced on a people that has a strong tradition for authoritarian leadership have less than “free” results. Some people respond well to monarchy, others to anarchy.
Only some of you know intimately my political beliefs but many don’t and just read or listen to snippets I post every now and them. As many of you know, I’m always huge on personal freedom (tempered with the burdens of duty of course) and some may ask why I admire the NatSocs which requires giving up certain choices and freedoms for the common good and how I can reconcile it with my beliefs of wanting to give individuals the right to choose their own destiny when it is inhibited in a National Socialist environment. The answer is never clear and the simplest solution that comes to mind is give and take, that being to give back to your community and make it prosperous, from which the community has the responsibility to provide you with a future worth the sacrifices you made. Ideas rarely are exact in practice and people more so variable. If everyone were to just sacrifice for the common good within our needed stations, doesn’t that make us nothing more than ants? Cannon fodder ready to die for the colony? It is good as the colony survives and is made strong, but does that really make us prosperous or strong? It is definitely not a life I’d like to live. Is that even living? Just living to serve and having no say on where the winds blow? Personality wise, I, to a certain degree, get frustrated whenever I hear words like “You can’t do that” or “you can’t say that!”. Even though it’s petty or minor, it really bothers me that people forbid me as my own personal motto is “I CARVE MY OWN PATH”.
I do enjoy and see the benefits of a strong, capable central leadership as it gets rid of all the unnecessary bureaucracy and the delays of process. But we cannot simply just trust in small groups of people. No one is perfect, no one makes the right decisions all the time and how the hell did those guys get in that spot in the first place?
This is where the need for “dissent” and different ideas are desirable. In a highly centralized or authoritarian society that is huge on central administrative intervention, some minor things are quite sometimes policed or just downright forbidden. Then there are the morally ambiguous where there is no black or white answer.
I’m big on freedom, everyone knows that. Though because I have been EGO STROKED IN THE PAST ABOUT MY CONSISTENTLY GOOD DECISIONS AND ABILITY TO SEE THROUGH COMPLEX PROBLEMS I am still very much afraid of having to take the burden and moral responsibility of being wrong at the cost of others. For when you centralize, you take away not only people’s responsibility, but their decision-making as well, since they cannot do anything without your approval, they can only follow. But what if you’re wrong? Examples include Hitler’s stop order near Dunkirk and his refusal for breakout at Stalingrad. In contrast, his enemies who were once very highly centralized began to decentralize and let the experts make the decisions they know for themselves what’s best. Of course it was still centralized and authoritarian as it should be for war time, that I cannot deny but they allowed “different” ideas that conflicted with their superiors to work.
No man is an arbiter or an expert on everything and I know I am not such a man, so I know not to take the moral responsibility or burden at the cost of countless lives that depend on me. When I saw that cinematic conversation in Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void between Artanis and Kaldalis, I knew that that should be the relationship between the people and the state. That really hit me home as a leader. A people willing to work, protect and die for their community, in turn the community must make sure the best interest for its people is at all times questioned thoroughly and upheld.
KALDALIS: Do you not see the symmetry in this moment? Driving the Dark Templar away was a sin, but today - because you have united us - we fight together. The lives lost tomorrow will be the price for our future…
ARTANIS: An easy sentiment from ONE WHO IS NOT SENDING THEM TO DIE-
KALDALIS -FROM ONE WHO IS BEING SENT TO DIE! I will be among the first to spill Zerg blood. I am Akhundelar - the tip of the spear.
ARTANIS: Akhundelar… Few will survive the first wave. Why..?
KALDALIS: Because I know of no higher honour. I volunteered for a chance to give MY LIFE, for OUR HOME - to make a world for all Protoss once more… You made me believe in that.
ARTANIS: A world, for all Protoss, once more… It will be, because of warriors like you.
KALDALIS: Come back, Artanis… Lead us home. My life, for Aiur…
The state must keep alive those who are willing to die for it. But no one is always right. That’s why there should be a right amount of dissent or allowed independence because sometimes, the mob is dumb or fickle as fuck, as explained by Michio Kaku

A trade run where we decided to start East for the first time that reached all the way to Geuten. A Corps-sized Caravan, with three scouts, so it technically functioned as a Company traded with the locals and fought a couple of bandits down South.
Irishkaiser knows that the Europeans have not been blooded enough yet but has decided to keep the obviously weaker ones at a distance. A certain 501st member who supposedly was the one to bring diamond swords and infinity bows this week did not show up. We would have sold Anthobot his own swords anyway.

The proposition for Shrauger to become a Carrier Pilot was denied by THE LORD ADMIRAL. The Carrier is supposed to begin its military trials this week but is still in drydock, awaiting repairs and refitting for combat role.
LACKING THE INFRASTRUCTURE, KAISER ARSENAL SELFLESSLY OFFERS ITS OWN INFRASTRUCTURE TO VIRTUE INDUSTRIES TO ALLOW IT TO CONTINUE ITS F-35. WHY? BECAUSE OF SELFLESS LOVE OF FATHERLAND. DAS WHY.
The 501st sent terms to Dawn Brigade. Which was accepted. Sam_F, being the usual flip flopper and the reason why Dawn Brigade is embargoed later said that Connor564 had no right to treat. The right cunt was later put in his place when it was re-affirmed by Meifot and Jamwizard2.
An unrecognized underground YOUTH GROUP known as “RECRUITS” are mistakenly considered UTC and campaign for their right to be recognized as such. While hardline conservatives only agree that Company Members are UTC and no one else, the more liberal view of Regimentals as UTC is slowly being accepted by practicality even by the conservatives when they’re dealing with foreigners as they don’t expect them to know their system and their ways. Though regimentals are automatically Imperial Citizens. Recruits, of which two regiments have adopted in their structure now have a large amount of people who are in a state of limbo. Only the CONSERVATIVE STATE OF WESTERLANDS does not include “RECRUITS” in its structure. Those who join the 1st Regiment are immediately considered Regimentals, but it considers new people as recruits by its practical definition, though it has no legal definition or difference at all unlike the other two regiments.
Jenkem on the rise.
