ASPERMONT, WESTERLANDS- Yeah well. I’m Ninety-Five Years Old…
Irishkaiser - In the past, most of you know I’ve advocated for the free spread of knowledge and passing on talents and skills because naively, I thought teaching people to tap into their potentials would better help the world.
Inspired by historical events and phenomenons such as the printing press, the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution and the Digital Revolution, I thought that the unrestrained flow of information between peoples was always a good thing. I also however understood that there are outliers and exceptions to the rules and through the years have been disappointed by so many who take the things I’ve taught them and have just discarded them to pursue an “adequate” lifestyle or viewpoint. But I thought they were so few.
Even though a person may not be interested. In our society a more tolerable form of schooling is prevalent - we post information and publicly debate or discuss crafts, skills and certain arts for everyone to see and check it out for themselves so they may have at least an idea when they encounter it for themselves in the future. Many a homework was solved since 2012 by UTC.
The problems really began when UTC boomed in population in 2015, 2016 and 2017 in which ideas that were just plain WRONG started to surface and be more accepted by pockets of the population. I at first called it a creeping culture of Willful Ignorance. Turns out they were just naturally a bunch of cunts Later, In an environment of free and unrestrained discussion, a sort of “reddit phenomenon” appeared. Those who were wrong but of course were supported by pure numbers to validate their ideas thought themselves correct to the point that they thought they didn’t need to have their ideas or viewpoints tested for “truth” and have then resorted to congratulate and shake each other for being asses by forming their own gated communities, escaping a platform free from censorship to enforce their own miniature kingdom of lies.
I remember personally teaching these people not just how things worked in-game, but how things worked in life and even gave them advice on how to do this and that with tips and secret “life hacks” and how to approach. Thankfully, a psychology of resentment made them ignore and try to forget everything I taught because just like our premium enemies who suck at life - they do not want to be UTC even though what UTC does is right. They concentrate on the person instead of the method and such they would discard things that were useful and superior just because it’s our methods of doing them.
However, what I had taught them is something I remembered. The fear of putting a sword in their hands when I should have gutted them is still very real. Now the motherclan is making money. Actual money. Things that can open up huge possibilities and it can have very real dire consequences.
We may joke about hiring 20 Russian Gunmen to kill people who disagreed with us on petty internet fights like “Dave the guy who called me a camping douchebag 5 years ago”. But what if… Our own guys are not joking with the abilities we give them. Will we be forced to not joke about it in the future? Will the damage be done when we give them access to material resources that can give potential power in real life? And will we be forced to react or retaliate with equally or more terrible measures to ensure that respect for the options given to us built by our own far-sighted, creative and progress-minded individuals? The few who bring us to the Glorious Dawn, must also not be blinded to the abuse of the generations that may come after or have no stake because they didn’t build it. They just enjoyed what their ancestors made.
Now imagine giving individuals these kinds of accesses. I’m not going to make this paragraph long, but I’m sure you already know just how scary it is to trust them with this.
But overall, throughout history, there are still many good people on Earth and giving them the opportunity to grow, discover and be the best kind of person they can be has been a net positive for the human race. But clearly, when we are given the power of practically granting life or death, we must be more stringent and vigilant to the abuses of such power by the also many bad people who can hide among the good and pretend to be nice but have ulterior motives.
If we continue on with our progress, the stakes will be higher. But so will be the rewards…

He could have just used Coalition stores but eh alright.
Some drills were performed by individual regiments. Nobody tells me anything about em except they happened.
One day, we’ll extract oil from the United States of America.
A letter published detailing the 1st Regiment’s exploits in one of the Pumpkin Battles was approved as it has no context to the progress but rather of one battle. Written by a grognard back to his family detailing about how they valiantly withstood an overwhelming premium attack and brought enough time for their own forces to retreat with captured goods before retreating in good order themselves.
The grognard describes that during the fighting retreat, the outnumbered Old Guard allowed retreating company forces to escape without a single casualty, including the ones performing the Rearguard action.
It should be taken with a grain of salt since the author of the letter is also a guy who claims he’s got a 12 inch dick or something and described the retreating Company forces as a bunch of nansies that flee from a bunch of brainless monkeys.
The Clan Bank grew from 68% to 72% in the last week.
Practically 6 months since we first started, it seems that our goal will be reached by November, allowing us to go to Phase 2, thus opening our bank to investments with actual returns(SEA only).
1) Military Exercise Month. Trades Still Accepted. Trade Runs may or may not resume depending on how we feel.
