ASPERMONT, WESTERLANDS- Aspermont was once again alight with festivities to celebrate the 100K financial goal reached to allow self-sustaining of our finances. The cake party, reflecting the economic mood was more austere than usual because they remembered all the cake parties the last time took forever to finish the cakes with plenty of leftovers. Speaking the German language and bouts of Sieg Heil offended some jealous admins watching who can’t figure out why the fuck UTC is so successful. Probably cause they wonder why the hell they’re not being paid.
A lazy ass speech made with austerity, as Irishkaiser had to go back to work, announced a great reveal for the end of December on why admin abuse and inappropriate relationships are more accepted on Shotbow, etc. etc.
Gotta get back to work. Gotta keep the money flowing. AUSTERITY
Irishkaiser - The celebratory mood tempered with austerity for generating financial stability is not enough. Some may have noticed that our ethical and or cultural supremacy will one day as unlike Shotbow Staff, we can afford to pay officers with the accomplishments of the Clan Bank while the others are left in the dirt by Highlife and Lazertester(just ask kensai1111 LOL - I JUST GOTTA SAY… HE DESERVED IT).
For years, they’ve reviled us, said everything we did was wrong. Time and again we’ve proven them wrong and while the rest of Shotbow is in decline, for some strange reason the UTC has always risen and it’s done it by its own sweat and brow. They called us poor and we can’t afford premium and that’s why we’re angry - because apparently we’re poor, they spend their money on frivolities. They tell us we’re fools for burning objects with no intrinsic value, but would find it perfectly fine to stab each other in the back for virtual items and be willing to pay thousands of dollars for a bandana on PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS(Seriously, what the fuck). They call us virgins, but only because most of the time we’re quiet and decent and have historically(at least me anyway) entered into some form of relationship with most of their girls. This however is not why I wrote this editorial piece - in fact, those things are the complete opposite of the spirit of self-reflection and the acknowledgment of the transient nature of all power on earth, which is temporal.
Just before, I’ve re-read Rudyard Kipling’s poem: Recessional) recently and it puts into perspective of what we do. This pride in our own version of arrogant British supremacy has blinded those uninitiated or those who are living in the amazing community we’ve built up without experiencing the sacrifices or the effort made to build this up, only possible by a community of free ideas, free speech and unrestrained initiative. The following lines are what I can relate to in what Kipling has written:
^The ^tumult ^and ^the ^shouting ^dies;
^The ^Captains ^and ^the ^Kings ^depart:
^Still ^stands ^Thine ^ancient ^sacrifice,
^An ^humble ^and ^a ^contrite ^heart.
I have noticed the celebratory mood and enthusiastic glee is only temporary to the soul of a nation/community. In Kipling’s case, it was Christendom’s values and central importance in the British Empire with its cornerstone teachings that are eternal and has been attributed to its successful “national character”.
In our case, you can see that many have already forgot what made us great. I’ve written about us slowly losing it with every generation.
^Far-called ^our ^navies ^melt ^away;
^On ^dune ^and ^headland ^sinks ^the ^fire:
^Lo, ^all ^our ^pomp ^of ^yesterday
^Is ^one ^with ^Nineveh ^and ^Tyre!
The titular statement. Kipling here accepts that for all its might and glory, the British Empire will one day no longer be as it was. That all those years of glory regardless are but yesterday. For us, let’s really put this into perspective. Shotbow is in shit hits the fan right now. Highlife is practically just milking it at this point since what’s the bloody point anyway? Those cunts just keep infighting all the time, I’d take the money as consolation, honestly.
^If, ^drunk ^with ^sight ^of ^power, ^we ^loose
^Wild ^tongues ^that ^have ^not ^Thee ^in ^awe,
^Such ^boastings ^as ^the ^Gentiles ^use,
^Or ^lesser ^breeds ^without ^the ^Law—
In this statement, for Kipling, the allusion of Gentiles and Lesser Breeds are those who aren’t British. They’re everyone else in Continental Europe who continue with their power play, during a time where Britain lived at what it called its period of “splendid isolation”. The Law being some similar or shared cultural values. For us, our own hubris can make us just the same bunch of vain, meaningless horrible people on Shotbow. It’s happened before, I’m sure you remember, Fantastic Four.
^For ^heathen ^heart ^that ^puts ^her ^trust
^In ^reeking ^tube ^and ^iron ^shard,
^All ^valiant ^dust ^that ^builds ^on ^dust,
^And ^guarding ^calls ^not ^Thee ^to ^guard,
^For ^frantic ^boast ^and ^foolish ^word-
^Thy ^Mercy ^on ^Thy ^People, ^Lord
The final stanza of Kipling’s poem refers to a heathen heart. A heathen heart is someone British but in Kipling’s opinion, does not really know the true national character or abides by it. The lines “For heathen heart that puts her trust in reeking tube and iron shard,” refers to hawkish cunts who think that the great things their native country built is just a plaything to be used at whim against others. Reeking tube and iron shard specifically refer to the technological superiority in naval and firearms technology they possessed, thinking that pure violence or firepower or the direct power projection is the only measure of greatness in a people. As Kipling says, it is VALIANT DUST THAT BUILDS ON DUST.
The British navy and army guarded its far-flung empire, but most of the time, it was misguided and does not call on what really mattered, according to Kipling, to ask the Lord’s guarding of their soul or give them wisdom for their moral consciousness to do the right thing and not misuse the terrible weapons they have created.
And through all of it, what Kipling described as frantic boasts and foolish words, I’m sure you’re familiar with British jingos who think they’re the best all the time for the end of time and that shit. Kipling apologizes, according to him, to the true cornerstone of the British Empire - finishing each stanza with the lines:
^Lest ^we ^forget—lest ^we ^forget!
Now let me ask you. Do you know what really makes us great. What we have are the symptoms of greatness, not the causes. We must remember what made us amazing and the ideas or system we built up is not the cornerstones in themselves, but in how we approach them and how we treat them. And goodness gracious, a lot of us have already forgot.
The true test of a civilization is not the census, nor the size of the cities, nor the crops—no, but the kind of man the country turns out.

I’m dying of OLD AGE.
The 1st Regiment deployed its carrier with the White Fleet battlegroup. To use the Carrier, please consult with Shrauger or Irishkaiser beforehand. The Emerald Fleet Carrier is still in drydock, currently being refitted for its duties unique to its location.
So I was walking around and having some conversations, particularly from some bunch of veterans and a lot of regulars and whites to confirm a report. A considerable number of veterans dislike the potion nerf, the regulars apparently are OK with it… But find the game increasingly boring without the bandit dangers(i.e. reduced population).
Whatever, that’s Pulse
Asia Kaiser. It wasn’t scientific. I didn’t even count. I just walked around and had conversations with a bunch of people from Discord, Shotbow, etc. etc.
The Clan Bank reaching its goal and having a financial buffer is now willing to accept bank accounts. The money will still be user’s but that person’s money will be used as a capital to generate more money. The user may take the money out with notification. However, having an account within the Bank of the Unknown [?] Clan will yield a small flat rate dividend every quarter(3 months starting January) until we can get more sophisticated.
At least ya’ll get 15USD a month.
Things may get kind of… Convoluted as monetary privacy is an issue where the operators of the bank can only publish the buffer capital and not the private, personal fortunes and accounts for “privacy” and security reasons.
Policies are still in flux or non-existent, but I’m thinking like. If the bank takes a real hard hit, all money will currently be frozen until we
WARNING, DISCLAIMER AND NOTE: the operators of the Clan Banks are unlicensed personnel and this is more of a hobby than an actual job. By giving your money to us, you MUST KNOW full well that we are amateurs. Literal amateurs. Amateurs can be knowledgeable but WE ARE NOT accountable by law. Please please think real hard if you plan to set up an account with us, because the only thing preventing me from taking your money with absolute control is trust and a sense of mutual benefit.
I cannot legally assure you that in a situation, you have equal cards that prevents me from abusing and taking over completely. I can only do my best to ensure that I live up to expectations and the duty given before me and my word is the only thing I can give. Please think real hard on that and only THEN DECIDE.
Also, it’s only open to select few anyway. But this is a nice disclaimer.
If ya’ll want to start this crazy ass US accounts, please find the cheapest money transfer you guys can find. I swear, it takes money to MOVE money and to CONVERT MONEY. That’s what sucks. You must send for example like 106 dollars to be able to send 100 dollars. The other six dollars go to paypal… And that’s just the transfer… There’s also the conversion costs.
At least something that has easy flat rate conversions.
Pay-grades are considered to be rather expensive to maintain, not because of money… But of remembering them in the first place and that would really fuck up with our calculations since we’re already just doing this by hand and head anyway. An alternative system seen as more feasible and even acceptable is the reward system.
If people do something good, their peers may consider them good for payment then maybe that would serve best as a reward. Sides, 15USD every three months? Come the fuck on. I’m sure most people are willing to pass up on that and prove themselves for 30-50USD or some shit.
