AURORA, I.L. - The villages of Ridgevale and Huntsgrove were invaded by Byzantine rebels from across the sea in a surprise attack with the Byzantines taking advantage of a weakened kingdom who could not supply enough frontier guards due to monitoring and containing the constant waves of premium immigration in the South and snowy Heartlands.
The town guards reportedly put up light resistance before quickly surrendering to the Bear of Aeternalis. A Royal patrol of over 1(00) men managed to retake Ridgevale for 3 days but were surrounded and cut off from all sides by the rebels. The patrol managed to fight its way out of the encirclement and managed to return the news to the capital about the invasion.
A mobilization order from Aurora was enacted yesterday but the Kingdom’s military is still on the defensive with the Byzantine rebels still having the momentum of the war. Other frontier villages were ordered to evacuate for their safety and were relocated further inland.
Irishkaiser - Around purples and yellows, never be mellow. Premium character whether he or she be a “nice” player or a “bandit” player both still have one thing in common - selfishness.
One thing I’ve seen in all premiums is the fact that they want everything given to them, served up on a silver platter. Even something that should be really worked for - respect.
Nice premiums complain about regulars who are attacking them all the time or not trusting them while spouting that not all premiums are the same - which is factually true but the very fact that HE OR SHE STILL REFUSES TO UNDERSTAND THEIR POINT OF VIEW AND OR THE REGULAR PLAYERS' EXPERIENCE BUT RATHER DISMISS THEM AS MERE PRICKS AND NOT AS PEOPLE WHO HAVE SEEN ENOUGH. “Nice” premiums demand trust and respect right away even though that thing should be earned from people and are still ignorant of the fact that STEREOTYPING IS A SURVIVAL INSTINCT.
The mere fact is, there is not brave nice premiums out there to break the stereotype because they’re too cowardly and afraid to die or lose things to save what? Their ego, more like.
Guess whose not afraid between the two groups. That’s right, the banditing premiums. They have no qualms killing and trash talking and gloating over the use of their grapples and speed potions. The nice premiums are all tucked away safe in their private servers and give the image that all premiums are douchebags who keep terrorizing the regular players. And then when a NICE PREMIUM comes along with all the ignorance in the world squashed into their proud heads - they fucking complain about “people hating on premiums! whyyyy”
You’re the reason why, fucktard. Your cowardly ass sits there all day, sipping expensive brandy and hobnobing with royalty to even make a Goddamn effort to change the viewpoint.
Back to what I said about stereotyping as a survival instinct. It is true, those thoughts(whether they be IRL or in-game) are natural and suppressing the regular players' opinion of your kind is one of the worst kinds of indirect censorship because it suppresses THE MIND, not simply the words. Stereotyping is broad and the ability is passed down from the survivors because they know that maybe the Saber Cat isn’t out to make friends or likes being pet on but rather sees you as lunch or maybe a potential threat to its territory.
Yes, I don’t feel safe with a bunch of bling sporting black people, but I do definitely feel safe with a black guy wearing a nice suit. I do not feel safe in an alley where there’s a guy wearing a hoodie(fuck you, Trayvon), heck… But maybe I feel safe if I knew Zimmerman was watching.
Stereotyping is the same reason why we never relax around premiums. And it’s not WRONG - society spouts this bullshit metaphors about judging books by their covers but the allegory isn’t the same in terms of gravity. Stereotyping IS AN EVOLUTIONARY TACTIC FOR LIFE OR DEATH SITUATIONS, GODDAMNIT - not about if you guys both share the same taste of music, you fucking half-wits.
To all the nice premiums reading, I’m not saying you should do these things(go on public servers and just play and make friends) no, if you feel safe in your private server - go ahead. All I’m saying is, if you complain about people not trusting premiums then you’re a dumbshit that’s probably getting a lot of regular people killed by the premiums because you told them to trust your people.
The directory reports that it delivered about:
1 Chain Set
2 Full Iron Swords
1 Power Bows
In exchange for
10 Health Potions
Trade Run started and ended at Grimdale. We failed to deliver the rest because we logged out realizing the mass increase of the Eternal Premium in Grimdale. As always there has got to be THAT ONE PREMIUM asking for a 1v1… Always.
The directory reports that it delivered about:
1 Power II bows
In exchange for
4 Health Potions
It was actually 1 golden apple and 2 health potions but lazy formatting is lazy.
Tenland’s own, Crackerjack and LopNort acquired a pumpkin from the Merchant’s City yesterday while we fought off the Eternal Premium who was apparently surprised that Aspermont was swarming with our comrades before they got there.
Slava mulzchiny Skimskaogo.
