HEADLINES: NEW INDUSTRIES RELEASES NEW PRODUCT NEXT TRADE RUN
ASPERMONT, WESTERLANDS - The New Industries sector of the UNKNOWN [?] Trading Company has revealed that they will release their latest product line next trade run publicly to the rest of the Company that volunteers to be a part of it, expanding the market from beyond the top brass and select few among even the Commonwealth and Imperial Citizens.
Culminating from the two months worth of building and directional policy taken by the Directory, the big reveal will show that the New Industries as a sector is not some sort of red herring or a propaganda piece but an actual, thriving economic sector becoming increasingly vital to the Company’s success.
Irishkaiser’s dream being realized will hope to see the following three things happen:
1) Inspire other individuals to become part of the New Industries.
2) Expand the market.
3) Stick his dick out and put it in other people’s mouths with arrogant superiority complex something something superior UTC cocks.
EDITORIAL - K-Pop’s Appeal is Intrinsically Korean
Irishkaiser - One of the globalized cultural phenomenons of the 21st Century that did not originate in Hollywood is K-Pop. From the late 2000s, to even the close of the twenty-teens, K-Pop’s popularity has rivaled anime in oriental appeal. Its success however laid in its timing.
Before, K-Pop, there was J-Pop(Japanese Popular Music) which for a period of time saw a meteoric rise in popularity not just domestically in Japan, but also abroad. This East Asian aesthetic made it palatable to Western markets, but never deeply penetrated the saturated and thriving US Records Industry. It was the end of the Cold War and people had a lot more optimism; markets were booming, wealth was expanding and people could afford extra leisure and pleasure. In South Korea, there is a history of cultural and economic exchange between them, China and Japan that still exists today. The former ate that Japanese shit up like there was no tomorrow, providing an alternative to the US market and the latter influenced and inspired South Korean artists the confidence to get in there and try their luck.
Now that the market has been set, the opportunity is there. But how does one exploit it? Especially in such a way that people won’t conflate it as simply J-Pop’s bastard child or stagnate like them? K-Pop needed an edge and its edge was something the Korean peoples already had with them. Enter, the rise of the internet and audiovisual technology. Quick question, what is the main difference between J-Pop and K-Pop? Both seemed to follow the same musical genres, both had idols and groups. So what set them apart? Well, to put it simply, priorities. The Japanese were more music oriented and visuals were a second priority, usually an afterthought after the song was recorded… But the Koreans had their edge in the visuals. In stage dance. The Imjin Peninsula is a country filled with thousands of history of group dancing.
If you take a trip to North Korea, you will find an Orwellian alternate reality of K-Pop inevitability in the form of North Korean dances that are very important culturally. It was on this ground where the South Koreans would build their church.
Sound and video technology improved vastly and consequently, music videos BECAME the songs more and more with their own recordings that had unique ambient sounds. In the Western markets, Lady Gaga’s popularity at this time was not just for her songs alone, but her stunning visual direction. They were attention-grabbing, a little weird but definitely not “off” and low effort like many of the artists back then. They were high quality and put in a lot of effort to get it right.
Could you remember the music video at all to say Jason Mraz’s Geek in the Pink? Or how about Queen’s Breakthrough?… I’ll stop there because the more back you go the more forgettable they were or just… Off.
But tastes had changed and not only had the music had to be good, the visuals to accompany it had to be just as creative and awesome. This gave the South Korean music industry their edge and capitalized on this part of their identity. I may just ramble on and on, but I will end with this video and making some mumbles about internet crazy tastes at the time.
Yeah, basically get a bunch of Koreans to dance together in a group and people will toss them money.

DOMESTIC - DISCORD UNRELIABLE? ALTERNATIVES BEING LOOKED INTO
Discord unreliability has been reported many months ago by certain Company Members, prompting interests in either creating our own VoIP or finding an alternative. The UNKNOWN [?] Trading Company Discord is historically known as the first MineZ Discord ever as the Company was the first to adopt it in the MineZ community years ago.
Discord as a company itself is seen by Clan Bank analysts as no longer having the same shiny promise it once had when it first came out. Some have speculated months ago that Discord might probably be in some financial desperation with their drive to expand beyond simple Voice and Communications, finally having a browser and an in-game store or some shit with all the other useless ass medals and shit you put on there.
Fuck if I know if they’re making money. Hell, Discord doesn’t even know what they’re doing!
