HEADLINES: MINEZ POPULATION STAGNATED AND FELL THIS WEEK
ASPERMONT, WESTERLANDS - The MineZ Population overall fell this week as compared to last week from the experiences of Company Members and Regimentals and Imperial Citizens playing.
Though still larger than most of last year, the MineZ servers have noticeable lull in activity and reduced amount compared to last week. Many are beginning to lose interest once again.
Directory Member Irishkaiser began seeing what was going on he was like “Ooooh shit.” and instantly regretted gathering two inventory’s worth of trade run materials to sell.

EDITORIAL - Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord is so good it makes me sad.
Irishkaiser - The release of Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord, one of the most anticipated games for 10 years has been met with much praise. They have brought all what we loved about Warband into a more polished product, streamlining manual decisions and of course adding more things to do that doesn’t contradict with the gameplay like an actual smithing system that’s actually deep but user-friendly and of course the economy. The only gamechanger now is character deaths(which are optional) which isn’t really intrusive and starting a family in the game.
It really is the perfect game sequel and storyline prequel - keeping its trademark mechanics and feel and expanding on them, not just rehashing or recycling or continuing the story. It really has new things to offer.
From the reviews, it seems both fans and new players love it, catapulting the franchise into becoming a household game and winning a Steam award that may make it most downloaded game on launch for the year 2020.
The developers and the group TaleWorlds are not just game developers. They’re artists. Driven by passion and with a drive to make a game they want to play… I mean, have you seen Mount and Blade before? God, that game is so dated, even for its time, it feels like a 1999-2001 game. But they wanted to make a game they wanted to play. No matter how ugly, unpolished or incomplete it was. They actually managed to do it and sold over one million copies worldwide.
It took them about a decade to finish the game. That’s how dedicated they were. They did not have much of the resources of a big studio and when they released the game they began to immediately quash bugs without being tired. That is a level of professionalism and dedication that is rare nowadays in the game industry. I think Vergath put it best when he described it, which is bittersweet and puts a tear in my eye.

as expected from taleworlds
they havent gone all corporate yet
I’m both happy and sad because I fear TaleWorlds will one day become that big hotshot successful company that thinks they can get away with stuff because they can ride and cash in on their previous success. I remember Battlefield franchise by DICE. I loved the games since 1942 all the way to Battlefield 3(except the shitty expansions like Secret Weapons of World War 2 and other such garbage). Then shit got bad… Really bad.
But Battlefield was catapulted from the “alternative” to Call of Duty to its main competitor. Fuck I hated everything after Battlefield 3 ever since.
But I will enjoy the good memories of them now while I still have them. I only wish it can go on just for a little while longer.

TRADE - US MineZ Trade Run
The Directory proudly announces that it has delivered
2 Chain Sets
2 Iron Swords
2 Infinity Bows
2 Iron Boots
1 Iron Pants
1 Iron Chestplate
in value exchange for
Lots of Potions and Buttons and Food I don’t fucking count
Terrible trade run. We gathered way too much and only managed to sell two of each. Most people preferred to carry on because for some strange reason a lot of them were actually butt-fuck poor or realized that they do indeed get killed too often and die.
In addition, there weren’t as much people on as there was.
Maybe it’s because I was punished by God for instituting a Sodom and Gomorrah in Grimdale. The unspoken, terrible acts we have done… Such terrible, terrible acts.
When the Trade Run was over, we decided to just give the rest of the equipment to the scouts and headed home.

DOMESTIC - PTR Adventures Plan for the Future - Camp Bell sucks?
Adventures and reports from PTR gave the Company some plans for the future last week when it was released. In field experience resulted in the conclusion that the “Company is OK”. One strange report however was… “everybody hates Camp Bell”? At first Irishkaiser didn’t believe it until he asked everyone online on PTR what they thought of the new Camp Bell and said it was “ugly” and “pretty bad”.
Seeing the new Camp Bell, Irishkaiser agreed that it wasn’t an improvement at all, but nothing really upsetting… It’s Camp Bell, it’s unimportant. The old one sucked as well and while the new one isn’t an improvement, it’s still nothing to get upset about. Upon further research, he later discovered that manipulative methods and politicking were used to apply the new shittier Camp Bell when better options were available.
Literally everyone who participated agrees that Camp Bell sucks or something and it was only chosen because it was spammed by cliques and friend gangs who don’t actually like the build or compared them with others, but via blackvoting - ordering an entire group to vote one way regardless of individual will.
Ah, premlets. When are they gonna learn?

FINANCE - WORLD ADAPTS - DECOUPLING GAINS SUPPORT
As the Global Quarantine Effort to stave off the inevitable spread of COVID-19 reaches its third week, the world adapts to the new lifestyle fairly quickly. With deaths and infection rates beginning to show the sides of stagnation and a few successful “countries”(including Taiwan) bringing it down, it would take a monumental effort of stupidity or willful suicide to begin stopping mankind’s first signs of winning against the pandemic as more and more resources are being brought to the forefront.
The affair however has resulted in the People’s Republic of China losing public face, further spurring the decoupling movement with the CCP’s poor handling of the situation. This global event has undoubtedly affected the world economic order and it would be a brave new world once we have gotten past this.
The Clan Bank still doesn’t want to make money… BECAUSE YOU CAN’T MAKE MONEY. You can’t even make money off medicines and pharmaceutical companies and what not as they’re NOT MAKING MONEY as of the moment. No one is making a profit off of this… At least from what we see.
The Bank of the Unknown [?] Clan will also expect world governments' public debt to skyrocket, but right now the choice for most leaders is clear. This is a debt that’s worth having.
It is still unclear what will happen as it’s going to be a very different economic world when this is over.
