HEADLINES: THE END OF TRADE RUNS? REPORTS FIND
ASPERMONT, WESTERLANDS - Reports from Reconnaissance Teams sent out to explore MineZ have come to a conclusion that Trade Runs, or at least the traditional sense of a Trade Run with armed guards escorting a merchant inventory is obsolete and an unnecessary expense in time, effort and material.
This is mainly due to the inclusion of a PvE Line, wherein it would be considered stupid to not take advantage or accept its reality. Instead of Trade Runs with armed caravans, the UNKNOWN [?] Trading Company would instead set up shops down South in major populations centers and sell items for filled Shear Kits, Buttons and other valuable goods.
Escort missions and delivery missions of excess Northern Goods would gain more prominence in the process. In operational capability, all could technically be handled by one person freeing up more people to do other things, but additional Company Members who participate may use the areas as recruiting stations, advertisements or resupply areas for themselves without fear of attack.
These new methods can also solve excess loot farmed or captured and filling up alts from established players in the North.
We’re in the Future, basically.
EDITORIAL - In My Heart, I Knew They Wrong
Irishkaiser - When the Coronavirus Pandemic broke, a lot of people immediately thought it was going to be a big nothingburger and clashed with me on the matter - many even citing that the World Health Organization supported their statements. I was one of the people who did not trust the World Health Organization immediately after reading up on said statements and was rather appalled by the petty power politics playing out in the news, particularly with the affair on “naming” the virus which wasn’t really important at that point.
I was appalled by its politicking when they refused the Republic of China(Taiwan) when they were the first to help raise the alarm and had the best measures and handling.
I’ve gotten to know the People’s Republic of China(Mainland China), admiring their strengths but also acknowledging their weaknesses and I realized that boy howdy, they sure got this the wrong fucking way and after their subsequent actions, I then knew they reinforced moves to the wrong direction. This shocked me not because they did it, I expected them to do it - but this shocked me because everyone else believed it.
I was like “Haha… Wait… What..?”
The United Nations of course seems like a “credible” organization, and the World Health Organization definitely should be “credible”. Only bootlicking idiots would trust anything thrown to “guide” them.
Months ago, I talked about that time a doctor who was diagnosing me was wrong. I knew it, but he was a doctor and I didn’t have any actual experience in medicine. I had to get consensus, referring to a more experienced senior specialist to quash his diagnosis.
Why should I trust that senior specialist more so than the one diagnosing me? There was just something that felt inherently wrong in his diagnosis. He was only human. But that also means the senior specialist who disagreed might also have been wrong.
The German method of science was wrong during the Beriberi Outbreak in 1900s Japan, supplanted by the British Statistical method, but does that the rigid German method is always wrong? No.
People who blindly put their trust in science or people who tell them what science is are fools who mostly cannot think for themselves.
To have faith in something is not simply trusting blindly, it is built trust. For example, I have faith that my computer will turn on everytime I start it - because consistently that has been proven to be true. When it breaks, I start to lose faith - and when the World Health Organization started parroting the bullshit Beijing sent - I lost faith in the World Health Organization.
Ironic. People clamor for a big authoritarian daddy to think and tell them what to do. Must be some kind of fetish.

DOMESTIC - LOCAL MAN RESEARCHES GATESTONES. LOST HIS FUCKING MIND
Local Man from the Westerlands Regiment started diving into Gatestones and Waygates last week, resulting in his mad 24 hour MineZ binge trying to figure out how the new effects work and what they do. He was later asking for volunteers for his mad quest to dive deep into dangerous areas all in the name of science.
A volunteer cadre stepped up and waited for orders, but later he was found asleep, tired and exhausted from his session - the mission never came. The gatestones took his mind, man.
He later panic woke in the middle of the night asking if there was anything to do and we were like “No, not really.” then went back to sleep.
