HEADLINES: HERO SAVES HISTORY. EARNS HERO OF THE FEDERATION.
ASPERMONT, WESTERLANDS - Local Westerlander saved a historic piece of work and earned HERO OF THE FEDERATION. He gave his server and his site so that others may see... More than a man... A SOLDIER... A HERO OF THE FEDERATION.
Yo, thanks for saving this shit, bro. The old video is gone but at least we managed to save it. Heil Hitler, brother
GRUNGE IS OUR HERITAGE.
EDITORIAL - Addiction is a Formula
OneZedArmy - So I was watching a streamer play Dead by Daylight. You have to pay 20$ to buy the game, and then there's also a premium currency and then you have to pay even more to use the different characters.
Like we've become so used to all these shitty tactics and how bad games are now in this aspect it's incredible and that game isn't even the worst example of this Like NBA or FIFA where you have to pay 60$ and the game is full on P2W gambling addiction as well.
First, games you bought had all the content unlocked or would be unlocked by you simply playing it then with the internet a different model appeared of freetoplay games where you didn't need to buy them but they made cash through cosmetics and skins. Which people were fine with because they didn't affect your chances of winning.
Then other freetoplays appeared where they were straight P2W and then people coped with that "well they need to make money somehow and you didnt even buy the game so it makes sense that it is P2W"
And now we have games were you literally buy it, and then it's pay to win. Fucking incredible.
What do you even buy? You own nothing. You bought wasted hours That's only one of the controversies - DLCs (which are basically chopping the game in pieces and reselling it), lootboxes and gambling, season passes, early access, and many more.
And you would think people would get tired of this shit at some point... Well looking at the revenue companies make, and people keep playing them, it doesn't seem so. The whole industry has reached since a while ago full on milking revenue status. Games aren't made to be good, they are made to be addictive. Daily/weekly repeated tasks with the purpose of keeping you addicted. Fake ranks and progressing to give you the idea that you are gaining something. 99% of games nowadays arent worth it Specially those timesink games where you can easily spend over a thousand hours they can ruin your life.
Imagine being a man, a grown up man, and still play videogames designed to keep kids addicted. That's why you see so many people who are grown up but still seem to have a kids brain. Their development got fucked up.
The only games you can play as an adult and not seem a total manchild are driving games and very little others. If you play videogames like more than 15 hours each week there's something wrong with your brain
A lot of people say this but they only mean AAA type commercial games, when reality is indies are trash as well now.
Wow, another 2D pixel roguelite? Amazing Plus all the characters are gay or whatever In a way It has been a good thing that the videogame industry has degenerated so bad because thanks to it, I realized this. If that hadnt happened maybe I would still be wasting 4h a day playing some timesink pixel shit
