HEADLINES: BACKUP COMMUNICATION BECOMES PRIORITY
ASPERMONT, WESTERLANDS - Company Technicians and Developers have agreed that there is no single perfect alternative chat communication platform - and if there was one the chances of it being "permanent" is a foolish concept. A different goal instead has come into view: a backup communication system for the Empire and Commonwealth.
An XMPP protocol has so far been chosen to be this back-up emergency communication system, thus giving the Clan more room to maneuver and go about the internet freely.
In our BURNING CRUSADE for internet freedom - it seems that having one solution is the most stupidest fucking thing ever. Gotta stay federated, bro.
EDITORIAL - Ideological Rock, Paper Scissors. The Cycle of Governments of the Modern Era.
Irishkaiser - I've noticed a pattern in the world's government models of recent history. When looking at a list of formerly fascist nations such as Spain, Taiwan(Republic of China), Chile and many more from all around the world... These nations peacefully transitioned from their Authoritarian models, barely shedding blood - the fascist governments most of the time also do so willingly, abiding by the will of the people and giving way freer governments.
All the while I've noticed that democratic ones or liberalizing governments in history were the ones most vulnerable to Communist takeover, unless RIGHT WING DEATH SQUADS were ready to challenge their claim as you can see in the many recent civil wars in history. Concordantly, Communist transitions to democratic governments tended to be... Disastrous. It was only through a lucky series of events that led to a "mostly" peaceful Soviet collapse... Except in the Balkans. A string of short-lived leaders effectively divided continuing support, enough to allow Gorbachev to say "You know what? Who even cares?". Even then, we came very very close to people being shot on the night of the collapse of the Berlin Wall, from Berlin to all the way to Moscow when Gorbachev was under arrest by hardline Communist Party members.
The way I see it, unless war is a factor where anything can happen, fascist governments tend to give way to democratic governments, who tend to be undermined and subverted by communist governments who could only be stood up to by fascist governments.
I'm guessing it's because a lot of fascist governments and groups tend to actually be concerned about suspending civil liberties until "property and rights are secured from the threat." and when there is no longer a threat to justify the movement, most fascists become one generation governments and go home cause they have no purpose anymore after defeating the communist threat.
This is just a recent pattern I've noticed, and I don't have any complete compiled hard evidence yet.
But damn... The red scare is real.

MineZ had problems, thereby ruining the rhythm of gathering stuff for the Trade Mission. Irishkaiser officially called it off himself cause "Eh, it wasn't our fault". and decided to go home and masturbate to his secret MineZ crush and bothering people in the clan about it.
He is once again seen being dragged away by police officers for the 800th time.
