ASPERMONT, W.L.- The New Regiment’s appearance shall be based off the 13eme Regiment de Bourbonnais of the Royal French Army, 1775. White dominant with red facings.
Currently called the Experimental Corps of Volunteers, the Regiment is not yet numbered until its members have chosen it by themselves and with their own leader. Technically speaking, it’s not yet a regiment until it’s given a right to number itself and design their own Colours.
Irishkaiser - It has been said that the machine gun settled the debate between the straight sword and the curved sword, certainly nowadays firepower has triumphed in real contemporary, but when it comes to fighting and tactics in Minecraft, the debate is still serious when it comes to a highly organized clan like ours where we compensate those of generally poorer PvP skills with formation fighting and teamwork.
In Minecraft fighting, especially in the quicker environment of MineZ - firepower and cold steel have either proved to be the decisive coup de grace in fights and neither seem to be more important than the other, but it’s the understanding of the philosophy of these methods which could help us develop a standardized training procedure to apply to newer members.
Firepower, or the bow and the grenade and or any ranged attack are the preferred weapons of most people and by popular accounts seem to require lower amounts of skill to be used. This is false. The bow take a degree of skill to use as demonstrated by the endless amounts of applicants who always try to say that they’re good with a bow when in fact they are sub-par and totally worth nothing but crap. Like, complete crap.
The bow’s mindset appeals to those who like to play it safe and ineptness with lack of fighting spirit and aggressiveness. Many people mistake the bow as a defensive weapon with a whole “get away from me” mindset, many even committing the same mistake of FIRING within 12-15 blocks an opponent when they should’ve drawn their swords and counter-charged.
NEVER TRUST THOSE WHO SAY THEY ARE GOOD WITH A BOW UNLESS THEY ALREADY HAVE A REPUTATION FOR IT.
The sword is a more aggressive weapon, preferred by those who love to get close and settle the battles quickly. It’s about momentum and pushing. Those who prefer this weapon are the better candidates for victory in general, but it still needs a certain degree of skill to operate effectively as plenty of times I’ve seen niggers(premiums who attacked us in trade runs) get completely destroyed by superior firepower(powers IIs, grenades and grey bows) before they even got to the 12 block distance.
What we’ve done is we’ve mixed the two and made one philosophy similar to the Carolean Ga-Pa. Aggressive use of bows and going forward to meet the enemy on our own terms, with aggressive counter-charging when they expect us to run. We rarely fall for baits(never at all in my recent memory have I remembered we fell for a bait).
All in all, I can say that it shouldn’t be FIREPOWER v COLD STEEL. It should be FIREPOWER AND COLD STEEL.
The Directory proudly announces that it has delivered

MoldZ in the house. Plenty of friendly players still in the South of MineZ, though considerably smaller than from previous weeks. US1 was broken… ENCOUNTERED ONLY ONE PREMIUM.
NOTE:Cereal refused to post video because he said it had bad footage or something. I am disappointed in him
This PvP Drill happened BEFORE the trade run and therefore, only one round was played due to the trade run starting immediately after the first round was complete. The first complete Regiment v Regiment with no substitutes on either side. Two teams used separate VoIPs with the 93rd using Skype as their favored form of communication while the Old Guard preferred its TRADITIONAL RAIDCALL. OBVIOUSLY IT SHOWS THE SYMBOLISM OF DISPARITY OF AGE BETWEEN THE TWO AS THE OLD GUARD’S METHODS WHICH ARE THE BEST AND WILL EVER BE THE BEST HAVE DEMONSTRATED IT BY CRUSHING THOSE WHO USE SKYPE, TEAMSPEAK AND MUMBLE IN PREVIOUS MATCHES.
ALL HAIL RAIDCALL… cough
The teams started off with the 93rd as Defenders and 222nd as Attackers. The 222nd first attempted a flanking maneuver but were quickly discovered and had to fall back under intense fire from the 93rd. The 93rd improved in their response time and intelligence sharing but the 222nd were STILL SUPERIOR. OF COURSE… THIS ISN’T BIASED AT ALL…
The 93rd at first gained the upper hand but were too inept and refused to exploit the momentary weakness of the attackers, opting instead to adopt a fixed posture. This resulted in giving the 222nd the advantage of outmaneuvering their opponents by regrouping to the barn, giving them an angle of fire that could only be described as the “Pounding of the 93rd’s virgin walls”.
Adopting the strategy of attrition and using their superior gunnery of accuracy and rate of fire, the 222nd proceeded to take their time to remove the 93rd’s health potion stock while taking minimal damage themselves. The 93rd for some strange reason, refused to move from their fixed position - only taking more damage until they were really low on health potions to switch positions.
A sortie attempt to remove the 222nd from their barn position was attempted by Alucard and Telma, but they failed to concentrate and were quickly forced back because of it became a 2v3. Sensing weakness and calculating their depleted potion stock, the 222nd assembled at the gates. And the two exchanged their grenade fire(completely missed both sides), however the 222nd had more grenade stocks since they conserved theirs and used them in mass groups and used it in their final push.
A final charge was conducted by the 222nd resulting in the deaths of Telma and Alucard at the gates. GunOverdose was murdered by Sahlgutmir outside the city as their fighting took them to the woods.
Irish asked Cereal for the recording then he said it looked bad. Irish committed suicide because Cereal betrayed him like this.
It’ll be fucking biblical. Not saying his name because it’ll be a surprise. YOU’LL KNOW WHO HE IS WHEN I SAY IT. SO KEEP YOUR EYES OUT.
