risingthumb.xyz The only programme I'm likely to get on is the news.

Bladerunner

Quintessential cyberpunk and android film. Financial box-office flop on release. Vangelis' music, Ridley Scott's directing, Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"'s inspiration and the acting of Rutger Hauer and Harrison Ford make this movie lightning in a bottle.

Like... Tears. In the rain.

Fiery the angels fell;
deep thunder rolled around their shores;
burning with the fires of Orc

Its sequel Bladerunner 2049 fell flat in my opinion. There's good directing and cinematic quality to it, but its narrative was not as interesting.
