Review: "Bro, it's just like 1984". It shows an authoritarian regime that uses high effort and high energy approaches, comparable, but pushed further than the approaches of Soviet Russia. This book makes an excellent case study to be compared with Brave New World.

Review: A good contrast to 1984. It shows how behavioural conditioning is a much more likely way to dictate peoples lives. It also portrays medicine in an interesting way as being to medicate more than just conditions, but also to medicate emotions with Soma, a drug that causes happiness. Well... whether or not it is happiness isn't really explained. Plenty of drug addicts claim to be happy, yet are deeply unhappily in bondage to their chemical of ill choice.

Review: Fun, simple comic from my youth that I enjoyed a lot.

Review: Excellent graphic novel from my youth. The scale of it feels comparable to The Hobbit, so I can easily recommend it to anyone wanting something on the same scale as The Hobbit. It starts off a little bit immature, but as you read further on, the stakes increase.
