I enjoyed Aliens a lot more than I enjoyed Alien. You can see visually how much many games draw their heritage from this movie. Halo's UNSC bases and ship designs look like the interiors, as well as gun ammo readouts reminding me of the turrets. Space Hulk's blips remind me of the blips on the monitors for all the aliens.

I also thought generally the movie did a lot better at holding my attention. The first half is like... What happened to this base which is more horror? The second half is more action-horror.

I think the final fight with the Alien Queen was rather odd. I suppose it makes sense but I thought it was an odd conclusion going very strongly into action rather than horror.

As it stands I think this is one of the better action-horror films out there.
