A Dark Comedy film set in the 1960s of London about a high functioning and exceptionally talented... and educated Withnail... and a shy bookish "I" about going off to the Lake District to get a break from it all. There are so many good quotes in this film it's unreal, and it is thoroughly entertaining... and tragic.
