This is a TTRPG rule book for the game Mörk Borg, which when translated means "Dark Fort". This was quite an influential book when I read it, and it oozes style and aesthetics, however I will warn that any GMs playing this game, they will find that they often need to adapt the rules with more systematising otherwise it will be harder for some kinds of players. Specifically the more gamey sort of players. Those players who have no issue improvising, this works particularly well for. This game also works well as a sort of singleplayer game as a lot of its tools emphasise making up and improvising your own solutions.
I will say that this book works very nicely too as a sort of "Coffee table art book" as it is absolutely dripping with style and aesthetics. There is also Ex Libris Mork Borg which is very helpful for any GMs as it also allows you to find rules for other things or to find inspiration with premade adventures, class variants and so on. This game really emphasises homebrewed content.
I will give one criticism that is a little bit more muted nowadays. When I played there was no Mörk Borg Bare Bones edition, which meant you had to either type up a lot of the rules from Mörk Borg, or deal with how difficult and eclectic a lot of the font choices were in this game. If you are Dyslexic, this will be quite hard to go through... even if you're not Dyslexic it may be too.
