Story is simple, and easy to understand, but focuses much more on the emotions and aesthetic. Allows the viewer to really soak in the atmosphere of the movie. The music and visual effects are exceptional for the time.

Quintessential cyberpunk and android film. Financial box-office flop on release. Vangelis' music, Ridley Scott's directing, Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"'s inspiration and the acting of Rutger Hauer and Harrison Ford make this movie lightning in a bottle.

Like... Tears. In the rain.

If you're watching this film, seriously give it a good chance and do not watch it if you're very tired. The pacing is rather slow, but it truly redeems itself in the 2nd half. I have a friend who tried watching this film and fell asleep which is unfortunate...
